Unless someone has diabetes, they have no idea how it affects a person. I don’t take diabetic supplements, just my normal prescription meds. Having the offer of a hamper of Diabon, plus other products for diabetics, sounds really good.
I am insulin resistant and is currently taking Victoza injections to help me to control my blood sugar levels.

Yes, I am currently and have been religiously taking Diablon since I was diagnosed in July 2011 with Type 1 Diabetes. I think supplements are essential, combined with a healthy lifestyle, for any Diabetic. Diablon is awesome as its formulated for diabetics, and takes into account all the nutrients Diabetic require.
I am type 2 Diabetic. On Metformin medication 850g three times a day. Dont take any supplements. Just eat healthy. Am on 5 chronic medications. Would love to win a hamper, as I have an under active thyroid; weight is also a problem. I am insulin resistant and im currently on Glucophage.
I have used DIABION -received a pack from DISCHEM.I am on METFORMIN.
I take Diabion every morning (5 years now)and I must say that as a pensioner I do appreciate the fact that Clicks have a special on this product every now and then (2 for 3) as it is expensive but very worthwhile.
I have tried a lot of supplements – even herbal – but none seems to work. The only alternative is to stick to Metformin, atleast it works! Wouldn’t mind giving Diabion a try. Why doesn’t the picture on this page appear? All I see is a blank box!

Hi – I’ve just been diagonosed & extremely scared, nervy about this whole situation- i’m seeing GP during this week regarding medication also i feel not enough awareness is being made with regards to this topic- I’d like to have my whole family included in this life changing program- I have family members who suffer badly with this illness also my grandparents had suffered severly as well- my grand mother became blind also due to ignorance of this disease- she ate all the wrong foods & only had taken medication when it suited her- so yes i need to change our lifestyle & eating habits to live more healthier & with better awareness. My husband also shows same symptoms & also will be attending physican this week for further tests.

I was diagnosed Type 2 diabetes in 2010, and have been taking Glocuphage and Diabion since then. Have recently started taking Chromium Picolinate, and have seen my morning readings drop. Best advice is to keep a balance of following a proper diet, taking your medicine regularly, and reducing your stress (exercise, or whatever helps you – it could be listening to music, meditation, walking on the beach).
My GP recently described me as one of the healthiest diabetics he has treated. One just has to get used to the idea that this is a condition that you have for life, and manage it accordingly, without letting it become too obtrusive.
I have taken them before but not Diabion – other brand was upsetting my stomach
, have been concentrating on my diet. I can now try Diabion. .
My partner is diabetic and in the past has taken supplements but he continued to complain about being more tired and tummy aches with the use. So he stopped. Maybe he can try Diabion with better results (^^;)

I’ve been diabetic for over 15 years now and have been taking Diabion for many years, adding essential vitamins and minerals lacking in my diet.
I have not tried it yet , I have been a diabetic for 28years and it would be nice to include it as a regular supplement to get all the good stuff neded.
I am what the doctor calls ‘pre diabetic’ high blood sugar but not quite there yet, so I am trying to act before the event by changing to the correct diet. I do take Viatathion, as a vitamin supplement but would prefer to try something specially formulated for diabetics
